Anchor Brewing discusses its porter in this excellent video

January 7, 2013Keith Gribbins

Little known fact: Anchor Brewing re-launched the first porter brewed in the United States after prohibition. Today’s popular Anchor Porter was first introduced in 1972, and one year after its 40th anniversary, it has become one of the most popular and drinkable porters in the craft brewing category. As our Beer of the Month in January, porters will be getting the limelight treatment as we discuss famous porters with craft breweries and run videos that elucidate this rich, dark variety of beer. Above watch an excellent video produced by Anchor Brewing on its porter. We love the style of this short vignette, which gets the folks at Anchor discussing the drinkability of this great brewski (apparently, it’s excellent with oysters). Learn more below or by visiting www.anchorbrewing.com.
