Brewers: Send your 2012 production numbers to the Brewers Association

January 14, 2013Jason Morgan

January marks the New Year of resolutions and opportunities, and for brewers it also is when the Brewers Association collects info for its Annual brewing Industry Production Survey (BIPS). The association reports that U.S. breweries should have already received a bright green survey in the mail, but brewers should not forget the most important survey step – send the answers back to the association.

Brewery-BIPS-SurveyThe production data survey provides the foundation for the craft beer industry statistical analysis of the calendar year and provides the Brewers Association membership with resources for the craft brewing industry. It packs the association with informative ammo to promote industry growth and trends in a positive light. Given the mass amounts of media attention the craft brewing industry is receiving, it’s more important than ever to get your survey answers in. The results will be presented at the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America in Washington, D.C., in March 2013 and in the May/June issue of The New Brewer.

If you don’t wish for your sales data to be published, please still fill out the survey, but check the “Do Not Publish” box on the survey, and your survey secrets are safe with the association.
