Read this book before our branding webinar on March 30 (CODO releases printed version of Craft Beer Branding Guide FOR FREE)

March 21, 2017Keith Gribbins

You thought the online version of the Craft Beer Branding Guide was good? Well, yeah. Duh. But now you can get that sucker as an actual, physical, print copy. Righteous. NEENAH Packaging has partnered with CODO Design to publish the Craft Beer Branding Guide, which is a step-by-step guide to branding your brewery, telling your story and selling barrels of suds. What’s the best part?

IT’S FREE!!! (oh, and it’s available now).

And what’s even better than that?

One of the writers, CODO Design Partner Isaac Arthur, will be hosting a Craft Brewing Business webinar on branding on March 30, titled, “A crash course in craft beer branding.” This webinar is aimed at helping you express the heart of your brand to consumers, and it will be the perfect opportunity to answer almost any marketing or branding questions you have about beer (from one of the industry’s top bosses). So you could read this book, then ask any questions you want.

The backstory of the book (from the press release):

Isaac Arthur and Cody Fague, founders of CODO Design, have worked with breweries all over the country (and increasingly, the world) on their branding, packaging, web design, and marketing. After years of working in the field they decided to gather their insights and learnings and create an online resource for people to use … for free. And thus, the online Craft Beer Branding Guide was born.

“Through the course of our work, we’ve had the opportunity to talk to hundreds of breweries about their business plans, hopes, dreams and favorite beers. And through the course of these conversations, more often than not, we find ourselves not only explaining how important branding is, but also how to approach it strategically and with a deeper sense of purpose. This led to the development of the Branding Guide. We saw it as a way to outline the key challenges breweries face through the branding process, and help those who may not know how to develop their story, or even what that story is,” said Arthur.

The availability of the guide coincides with the launch of NEENAH Packaging’s expansion of its BELLA Label Papers line, some of which are featured as real life samples in the book. The uncoated natural feel of BELLA provides an authentic, hand crafted look, helping brands create a distinct and compelling presence on shelf.
