Friday Fun: Fizzics, is it fun? You decide.

May 22, 2015Jason Morgan

If there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s that craft beer is awesome. If there are two things we can agree on, it’s that machines are the future. From the industrial revolution to the selfie devolution, technology has taken us to the moon and enabled us to deep fry an Oreo. So craft brewer, the question remains: Can a machine pour a beer better than you?

Yes. The answer is, “Yes.” Machines don’t get tired. They don’t have an off day. They don’t get drunk and mispour. It’s why they’ll take over the world one day. But until then, we can use their powers for craft beer good. Or at least, that is what the makers of Fizzics hope. Using sophisticated technologies, Fizzics promises to boost any craft beer’s flavor by providing an enhanced balance and “sensational” mouthfeel of aromatics, body and texture.

And the 769 people currently backing the craft beer contraption over at IndieGoGo agree with them. The beer pouring machine blew through its initial goal and is already more than 200% funded. You can get in on the action by heading over to the crowdfunding site. Or simply sound off in our comments section below: Fizzics – craft brewer friend or foe?!
