Watch: Magliner’s Powered Lifting Hand Truck makes moving kegs quick and effortless

February 23, 2021Keith Gribbins

I’ve already mangled my back shoveling snow this month. If I’m moving kegs and I probably am, I’m calling in the Powered Lifting Hand Truck. This steely lift truck from the moving experts at Magliner allows brewery employees, distributors or bar and restaurant staff to easily lift and lower heavy loads, up to 200 lbs, leveraging powered lift technology to place weighty items in higher spots, so the operator saves time and avoids repetitive physical challenges. Used as a traditional hand truck, this particular unit can actually boast a 500-lb overall load capacity.

From the press release:

The lithium battery powered unit lifts up to 40 in. high — making it ideal for stacking kegs, lifting merchandise and other heavy items, loading vehicles and so much more. In many cases, the Powered Lifting Hand Truck will allow a single operator to do what requires two people without the machine. Similar to other Magliner hand trucks, the customer has the ability to choose the lifting nose, handle and wheels that best fit their application. All units do come standard with stair climbers to assist with transporting loads up and down stairs and an integrated kick bar to help with breaking back heavy loads.

Paul Adler, Director of Marketing, says this of the new product: “The powered lifting hand truck will be a welcomed tool for our customers who are repeatedly having to lift heavy items as part of their daily job. We are very excited to get this latest innovation from Magline out into the marketplace.”

Magliner knows what it’s talking about. For the last 70 years, Magline Inc. (yes, the parent company doesn’t have an R) has been focused on innovative solutions to help folks transport materials safely and efficiently. The company sells a lot of cool products breweries might need. Check out more right over here, and then watch the video above.
