Watch: Hi-Wire Brewing tells us about its growth strategy

January 11, 2018Pete McNeil

I missed out on meeting Adam Charnack, co-owner of Hi-Wire Brewing, when they launched in Ohio in spring of 2017 (our coverage here), so figured I would swing by on my Asheville craft brewery pilgrimage for an update. The result was the chat in the video above. Hi-Wire has an interesting growth story, launching in the market at just the right time and “running out of room immediately,” Charnack tells us. Figuring out that next phase of growth took a few years, but they are now in the midst of executing it.

Some highlights:

  • The beer styles they are focusing on (and in which locations)
  • A new collaboration
  • The distribution goals for 2018
  • Packaging strategy
  • And Charnack’s favorite piece of equipment, which only a professional brewer could appreciate.
