Ultraviolet (UV) treatment specialist Aquionics has appointed Rodem as its distributor for the Midwest/Southeast region. Rodem has more than 40 years of experience in providing sanitary processing equipment across the food, beverage, brewing, pharmaceutical and life science markets.

Commenting on the deal, Aquionics’ Regional Sales Manager Brian Grochowski said: “Rodem will provide a high level of local service and support for us. Their intimate knowledge of sanitary processes and design, engineering, and installation capabilities bring value to our existing and potential client base. This makes them the perfect fit for Aquionics and we’re delighted to have them as a partner.”

Rodem’s Marketing Manager LeighAnn Diener added: “We’ll work closely with our customers to provide the right solution for their process from the Aquionics product line. Our focus is making each producer the lowest cost producer, with the best efficiency, so we will look for opportunities to provide value long-term with this product line.”

Based in Erlanger, Ky., and with a national distribution network, Aquionics specializes in UV technology for water and wastewater disinfection, dechlorination and deozonation. Working with the biggest names in food, beverage, electronics, pharmaceutical, aquaculture, pools and leisure, the company has gained valuable insights into its customers’ requirements and specialized applications. This enables Aquionics to offer not only the most technologically advanced UV systems, but a complete product portfolio for all markets. Aquionics is a Halma company.
