Check out XTRATUF’s Legacy boots, perfect for work in the brewhouse

January 20, 2021Pretty Much a Press Release

Brewers have realized what Commercial Fisherman in Alaska have known for decades, that XTRATUF boots offer all day comfort and the best protection against the broadest range of acids, corrosives, and contaminants – keeping brewers protected no matter what’s brewing.

Material: Each Legacy boot is made with XTRATUF’s triple dipping technique, which creates a seamless barrier that is highly resistant to many organic and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. The latex neoprene is ozone resistant, and is softer, lighter, and far more pliable than ordinary rubber. Cushioned insoles with arch support help fight fatigue and stress on the legs and back. The 15” Steel Toe Legacy Boot meets ASTM F2412-11 M I/75 C/75 standards for extra protection.

Protection: The Swingsaw CSA is designed to provide the protection and durability of a Legacy boot with unmatched comfort for long days on the brewery floor. Using the Honeywell Proprietary RDR oil/chemical resistant compound, this boot is resistant to many organic and inorganic acids, oils, chemicals and contaminants.

Traction options: Built with a Spandura covered 5mm neoprene bootie; this allows the boot to be comfort rated to -20°F. XTRATUF boots are built on either the classic non-marking, slip-resistant Chevron outsole that provides sure-gripping traction or the new Glacier Trek Pro outsole which provides traction on soapy tile, glycerin on steel and frosted surfaces for truly superior traction.

In addition to providing serious ankle and toe protection from any caustic fluids, the Swingsaw boots will support feet all day while brewing a double batch.
