Electric Brewing now open for business in California

May 22, 2014Chris Crowell

Electric Brewing CaliforniaOne more inch of California is covered in craft beer. Electric Brewing Co. officially opened its doors May 17 in Murrieta, Calif. The Electric Brewing Co. is a small-batch, electric-fired, craft brewery dedicated to the production of fine, hand-crafted ales and lagers.

Beers on tap to start will include: Cali Steamin’, a California Common that is bready, earthy, and slightly fruity with an assertive and lingering hop bitterness and a dry finish. Red Wheat Hefeweizen with a flour-like maltiness balanced by banana and slight clove flavors, sweet and effervescent. It also has a hint of bubblegum in the finish. Incredulous, an Imperial Red Ale with a medium caramel malt with a soft roast and chocolate notes in the background. It has just enough sweetness to balance the massive hop load. Finally, the Citra Pale Ale, an American Pale Ale with a bright and enjoyable citrus hop flavor. Additionally, it has a light caramel malt sweetness that is very clean overall.
