Facility Planning, a firm specializing in planning, design and construction management for the beer and beverage industries nationwide, announced the addition of long-time beverage industry professional Kent Wood to head its sales efforts as director of business development.

“Given the renewed growth and increased complexity in the beer industry, Kent’s background makes him the ideal person to direct this effort,” said Steve Hunter, co-owner at Facility Planning.
Wood holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University and brings more than 28 years of experience in various roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev. He has also recently worked as a consultant in the beverage industry.
In his new role, Wood will focus on business development and client relationships.
Founded in 2010, Facility Planning Partners LLC provides planning, design and construction management for the beer and beverage industries nationwide, and it’s ready to start focusing more on the craft brewing industry. Co-owners Hunter and Mike Pratt have more than 30 years experience in design development, bid management and construction oversight for beer facility owners. They have managed more than 70 beer facility projects valued at over $300 million.
Craft Brewing Business talked with Hunter recently for a story on brewery expansion and space planning, so be on the look out for that in the next few weeks.
