Find a friend in Colorado and get ready for Collaboration Fest 2019

October 9, 2018Chris Crowell

Collaboration beer festival

Craft beer drinkers love two things above all else: collaboration and festivals. It is only common sense the two should be combined, and for the last five years they have during Collaboration Fest. Collaboration Fest is the headline event that will kick-off Colorado Craft Beer Week from March 16-24, with this 2019 version taking place at the Hyatt Regency Denver.

What’s cool is this festival foregoes the conventional competition format of most craft beer festivals and highlights the collaborative nature of the craft beer industry instead.

“There is no place else you can try 100+ collaboration beers tapped at the same time in one day,” said Steve Kurowski of the Colorado Brewers Guild. “There is no other beer festival like this in the world. These beers often go on to be entered into competitions, are poured at Great American Beer Fest and continue to provide the beer craft enthusiast with a new unique product.”

Last year, Collaboration Fest produced over 120 beer collaborations from more than 200 breweries from 42 states and six countries.

Collaboration Fest, a festival created by Two Parts and the Colorado Brewers Guild, is the original collaboration beer festival in which breweries join forces to create one-of-a-kind beers that are often not available anywhere else. Colorado Brewers Guild members team up with breweries from near and far and let their imaginations run wild, allowing each brewery to choose who they want to work with, what style of beer they want to brew and what ingredients they want to include.

“Over the years, we’ve sought out venues for Collaboration Fest that would allow us to grow at a comfortable pace,” said Tobias Krause of Two Parts. “Last year’s Collaboration Fest at the Hyatt proved to be the best one yet, and we couldn’t be more excited about having the Hyatt back in the picture for 2019.”

Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public in November 2018 at CollaborationFest.com. Here’s a video from the 2018 edition.
