Montana, prepare to enjoy great Founders brands like All Day IPA.

Go west, young Founders Brewing Co. There you’ll find many a savvy craft beer drinker. Well, the company’s been doing just that. In November of last year, Founders announced distribution plans for Washington, Oregon and Idaho (all key states). Now, Montana has made the list.

Founders just announced that it will be expanding its distribution territory to include the great state of Montana with the help of the Great Artisan Beverage Montana network of distributors: Summit Beverage, Cardinal Distributing, Fun Beverage, Gusto Beverage and Briggs Distributing. These distributors will service all major markets across the state and residents can expect to find Founders’ year-round, seasonal and specialty beers in bottles, cans (as applicable) and kegs. Select limited release beers may also be available at craft retailers following the launch.

“I speak for all wholesalers in the GAB Montana network in saying that we are extremely excited to partner with Founders in bringing the high-quality and award-winning beers that they are so well-known for to our craft-seeking customers,” said Summit Beverage President Greg Markovich. “We feel that their brand positioning, innovation and marketing fits the Montana lifestyle and offers our craft enthusiasts a fantastic option.”

Beer will start shipping in March, with the retail release beginning on April 1. Launch events will take place the week of April 10. Visit foundersbrewing.com/events for more information.

“My annual trout camp takes place in the beautiful state of Montana, and I look forward to returning each year it comes around,” said Founders’ Co-Founder and CEO Mike Stevens. “Having been a two-bit fly-fishing guide in my previous life, it makes me damn proud that I can now purchase Founders beer in a place that, in a lot of ways, represents that past. Now, I might even be able to convince Dave [Co-Founder and President] to join me the next time around.”

Montana is the 43rd state to see Founders’ distribution.
