The Home of the Brave Brewseum, Kakaako’s brewpub museum, officially launched its Kickstarter project on Dec. 7 to achieve its motto of “Remember, Honor, Salute” and raise funds to finance the purchase and shipping of brewing equipment to Hawaii. Founded by the Tomlinson family, creators of Oahu’s premiere historical tour company, Home of the Brave Tours, The Home of the Brave Brewing Co. will provide delicious craft beer on site at both the Museum and Brewseum with the goal of growing distribution on Oahu and building Brewseums across the continental United States.

“With this new equipment, we will have the ability to bring our collection of incredible recipes to life and share them with our customers, something we have been dreaming about since the idea came to life back in 2008,” said Glen Tomlinson, owner and president of Home of the Brave.

Backers of the project become part of the “Brew Crew” and can donate at different levels of financial assistance. Stickers, posters, key chains, t-shirts, and even private parties hosted at the Museum & Brewseum are just some of the items gifted to those helping to fund the project.

The Kickstarter Campaign will become a success if it reaches its $45,000 goal by Jan. 6, 2015.
