Learn to pour craft beer like a pro

February 23, 2015Keith Gribbins

Hey, it doesn’t take a genius to pour a beer, but it also takes more thought and quality control than you might think. Make sure you’re using a clean glass (freshly rinsed with cold water), pour at an angle and prepare for the proper amount of foam. With bottled conditioned beers, there may be a considerable amount of yeast in the bottle, so you may wish to watch closely as you pour. Or better yet, just watch CraftBeer.com‘s Julia Herz. Above she shares the perfect way to pour your favorite craft beers from the tap, bottle and can. She goes into details about glassware, presentation, pouring techniques and tips. We’ll properly watch anything Julia cares to teach us.
