We want these Flying Dog Brewing cookie beer combos right now, please

Flying Dog 12 Pack Bottles_cookie beers
It’s the perfect holiday gift for your favorite CBB writer.

Oh, Flying Dog. We love your brand names — nameplates like Raging Bitch and Pearl Necklace. We love your labeling and branding — Ralph Steadman being one of the most excellent and depraved illustrators ever. But maybe most of all we love your cookie beer combos. Otterbein’s cookie-inspired craft beers from Flying Dog have changed the way we put on weight during the holidays (sorry Great Lake Brewing’s Porter Chocolate Chunk ice cream), and we’re happy to announce a new batch for the silly season.

Of note: Each beer below is inspired by and meant to be paired with the Otterbein cookie mentioned. This year, Flying Dog Brewing Co. is releasing four brand-new beers for four beer-and-cookie combos that will blow your mind:

  • Citrus Saison with Sugar Cookies
  • Belgian Pale Ale with Orange White Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Cranberry IPA with Lemon Cookies
  • Fig and Fennel Stout with Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

We quote Flying Dog’s Blog:

And because you’ve all been good boys and girls, we’re expanding distribution into Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Restrictive state laws continue to push away breweries: Noble Wave says bye to Louisiana, hello to Oregon because of ‘uncompetitive legal and regulatory landscape’
Flying Dog puts expansion plans on hold, cites Maryland’s regulatory practices
