Watch Ken Grossman convince 10 employees to go on a Death Ride with him

October 23, 2018Keith Gribbins

Most billionaire entrepreneurs are probably pretty charismatic people. Take Ken Grossman for instance. The American craft beer pioneer can have a town-hall meeting with his employees and convince 10 of them to go on something called a Death Ride with him. In Ken we trust.

The Death Ride is a tour of the California Alps (a secluded region of the Sierra Nevada mountains). The one-day haul is not for reluctant cyclists. It traverses five mountain passes covering a total of 129 miles and 16,000 ft of incline. The video above gives a six-minute plus overview of the Sierra Nevada beer team’s journey. One guy crashes hard. One guy invokes Satan. Everyone seems to finish behind Grossman. Poignant music throughout. Worth a watch.
