Whitehorse Brewing expands distribution with Ace Distributing in Pennsylvania

February 4, 2015Chris Crowell

Whitehorse BrewingWhitehorse Brewing has awarded Ace Distributing the distribution partnership for Lancaster, York, Adams, Franklin, Fulton and Cumberland counties. Whitehorse Brewing has been growing rapidly in their local Berlin, Pa., market since opening in 2013, now ready for growth across Pennsylvania.

“Whitehorse Brewing is excited to be bringing their products to east/central PA with the recent partnership with Ace Distributing. The professionalism, confidence, and knowledge demonstrated by the Ace team is first class and makes us at Whitehorse Brewing ecstatic this business relationship has occurred,” said George Walker, owner and founder at Whitehorse Brewing.

The Whitehorse Brewing Co. is located on the edge of the farms that surround Brothersvalley and Somerset county, the name comes from the Whitehorse Mountain range in the region. The portfolio of beers consists of locally sourced water, buckwheat honey and maple sugars.

“Ace Distributing is very excited to be partnering with a local brewery such as Whitehorse, we strive to bring the best in craft beers to our retail partners and local communities. We have been hearing success stories of the Whitehorse beers from their local community, and felt it was time to expand the opportunity for more people to experience more of what Pennsylvania has to taste,” said Nate Fochtman, vice president craft & specialty at Ace Distributing.

Whitehorse Brewing beers can be found in the Ace Distributing footprint in April, with various launch events celebrating the new markets and opportunities for the public to meet the brewery. For more information, check out the Whitehorse Brewing website.

Ace Distributing was founded in 1948 by Jimmie and Nick Spagnola, currently owned by Jeff Reeder and Tim Strickler since 1988. Throughout the years the company has expanded its distribution opportunities and portfolio of brands, spreading across six counties in South Central Pennsylvania and representing over sixty-four breweries from the United States and globally.
