Well, here’s a good story about our emergency beer truck…

Wholesaler! You, there, reading this post with the intensity of a thousand suns. Do you have a story to tell? Perhaps a story that highlights some of the 130,000 men and women who make up the beer distribution industry, from truck drivers, inventory specialists and graphic artists to sales representatives, warehouse workers and receptionists. Well, do you?

That story could win you a free trip to the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s (NBWA) annual trade show. The NBWA recently announced the return of the Share Your Story Contest for beer distribution employees who have never attended the NBWA Annual Convention & Trade Show.

“The American beer distribution industry is strong because of the amazing people who work in it and the passion they have for the work they do in communities across the country,” said NBWA President and CEO Craig Purser. “NBWA is looking forward to sharing their powerful stories that make all of us proud to be a part of this great system.”

To enter the contest, beer distribution employees will submit a written entry (approximately 200 to 250 words) explaining why they love working in the beer distribution industry. Details may include what they do, how long they have worked in the industry and how their career began. Other details may include how their company positively impacts their community and any colorful stories that paint a picture of the vibrant jobs in the beer distribution industry. Entrants also will submit one or more high-resolution, on-the-job photos showcasing their work at their company, in their market or in their community.

Entries may be submitted via the online entry form at www.nbwa.org/contest until August 10, 2015. Please contact NBWA Editorial Assistant Sara Nieman at [email protected] or (703) 683-4300 with any questions.

The winner will receive a complimentary trip to NBWA’s 78th Annual Convention & Trade Show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 11-14, 2015, will be recognized during the convention’s general session and will be featured on www.nbwa.org. The winner will be notified by September 1, 2015.

Now, go win.
