New for craft brewers via Gusmer: Dupont enzymes and Bucher Unipektin’s Mobile Candle Filter

May 22, 2018Chris Crowell

The Gusmer Enterprises booth is always a must-see at the Craft Brewers Conference for the variety of products and global suppliers all on display at one spot. Below are two of the more notable additions to its lineup this year.

Bucher Unipektin Mobile Candle Filter

For example, Bucher Unipektin is the world leading manufacturer of turn-key filtration systems for beverage industries and is now available to the U.S. market via Gusmer. After you skip past my stumbling over saying my own website’s name in the video above, you’ll hear from Chris Atkinson about Bucher Unipektin’s offering for the craft brewing market: the Secujet Mobile Candle Filter. Coming in three sizes (from 6.4 to 11 sq meters), this new Secujet is configured as a true candle filter and is designed to maximize surface area. It is a completely integrated mobile filter system, with body feed make up tank, CO2 sparge, mixer, dosing pump. It is slick.

Dupont enzymes

The benefits of enzymes are numerous: Optimal extraction, improved throughput and relieved processing bottlenecks all result from an enzymes’ ability to secure more consistent mashing, improve filtration and optimize the use of variable raw materials. Dupont is one of the world leaders in this area, and its enzymes are now available via Gusmer. Click to see the wildly awesome promotional shirt made by the Gusmer team to promote its new alliance with Dupont enzymes, but stay for the overview on its lineup for craft brewers, specifically the beta glucanase Laminex Maxflow 4G and the Alphalase Advanced 4000.
