On the show floor: Interview with the boiler makers at Miura #CBC2015

April 20, 2015Keith Gribbins

Miura was founded in Japan in 1927 and has grown to be one of the largest boiler manufacturers in the world. Miura is specifically known worldwide for its commitment to protecting the environment (on top of its innovative and efficient boiler designs), which makes the company a perfect fit for the craft brewing sector. The company’s low NOx steam and hot water boilers meet and exceed current and proposed regulations for nitrogen oxide emissions levels, as low as 9 ppm NOx at 3 percent corrected O2. We got the opportunity to talk to Miura at the Craft Brewers Conference last week. Watch our interview with Miura’s Doug MacMaster and Mike Bystedt above. Turn up the volume a little — it was a crazy, busy, loud show.
