Cool Equipment: Exploring the diversity of THIELMANN’s multi-purpose Aseptic Container brewing vessels

October 30, 2019Keith Gribbins

We’ve been covering a lot of boss multi-use brewing equipment in recent articles, and here’s another clever and flexible option from THIELMANN. These Aseptic Containers are built for breweries and wineries that are looking for 1) a high-quality stainless steel product that’s easy to clean and 2) the ability to tackle multiple beverage applications with one tank. Fermentation. Carbonation. Yeast propagation. Brite tank. Storage and serving. These THIELMANN Aseptic Containers can do it all.

Buyers can choose from a cone-shaped bottom or dish bottom, but the cylindroconical design of course allows easy capture and removal of yeast, which can then be saved for the next batch of beer. These metal vessels also feature stainless steel dimple jackets, designed to boost glycol cooling performance, which in turn, maintains lower lagering temperatures, which in turn saves beer-makers money and makes operations more efficient. What about cleaning?

Well, the seamless and hygienic interior features polished and passivated welds. Combined with the container’s cylindrical design results in a vessel that is easy to clean, as the marketing material says, “Offering the best, safe and aseptic environment, for your beer.”

We reached out to THIELMANN, and they noted to us that they actually have some of these cool Aseptic Containers at their Houston facilities right now.

The market maturation of the craft beer sector means the process of producing and serving beer is changing and getting more advanced. A competitive industry ultimately leads to businesses looking for leaner and smarter business practices to find an edge. These Aseptic Containers might help your upstart brewery lower operational costs, save space and manpower and ultimately get a leg up in today’s ultra-competitive beer market.
