Big Sky Resort Brewfest Craft Beer
Beautiful views for a brewfest don’t get much better than the Big Sky Resort offering.

Big Sky Resort tapped a lot of kegs last weekend for the 10th annual Brewfest. As one of Montana’s largest brewfests, there were more than 50 beers to taste between Montana and national breweries. Live outdoor music was be performed by Good Time Travelers, with their soul-folk music style, and free kid’s activities.

“Our Brewfest offers a beautiful backdrop for tasting beers you might not have tried before,” said Sheila D’Amico, public relations manager for Big Sky Resort. “It’s fun to ask brewers questions, enjoy free live music and have your kids use up their endless energy in the bouncy house, try face painting and games. An all-around great family day.”

Under two beer garden tents, the following breweries represented Montana: The Front Brewery, Madison River Brewing Co., Lone Peak Brewery, Big Sky Brewing, UberBrew Brewing Co., Outlaw Brewing, Draught Works Brewery, Bozeman Brewing, Kettle House Brewing Co., The Great Northern Brewing Co., and Katabatick Brewing.

National breweries were also on hand, check out this roster: Dos Equis, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewery, Stone Brewing Co., Green Flash Brewing Co., Upslope Brewing Co., and Langunitas Brewing Co. New this year was the taste of grapefruit in beer from The Traveler Beer Co., Schofferhofer, and Leinenkugel’s. The tents were set up near the base of Swift Current chair lift in the Mountain Village, while delicious BBQ bratwurst, spectacular Montana Wagyu Cattle Co. brisket and a burger bar helped feed the hunger need during the big brewfest.
