Domestic tax paid by brewers shows increase in September 2015

Hopefully you did your civic duty this week and voted for a bunch of local things you were only half-informed about. Keeping that U.S. citizen vibe going, let’s take a look at some unofficial estimates of domestic tax data, courtesy of the Beer Institute.

The September 2015 domestic tax paid estimate is 15,372,000 barrels. September 2014 removals were 15,074,000 (revised) for an increase of 2.0%.

Please note that the estimates below for January through May of both 2014 and 2015 reflect revised estimates released by the TTB:
