Gamechanging nitro dosing equipment debuts at #CBC2016

May 3, 2016Chris Crowell

Every year, prior to the annual Craft Brewers Conference & BrewEXPO America, we ask exhibitors to tell us what will be at their booth to preview the show. Below is one such preview. For all of our CBC coverage this year, search #CBC2016 or click this link. See you in Philly.

Chart Industries dosingChart Industries, a mainstay at the Craft Brewers Conference and a company that has perfected liquid nitrogen dosing for the last 30 years, is debuting the Controller FS-250 and the Electric Actuator Standard Edition (EASE system) this week at booth #2139 during the Craft Brewers Conference.

The UltraDoser2Dosing-Equipment-UltraDoser Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Dosing System has become a game-changer for many of the nation’s premiere microbreweries that incorporate the dosing technology into their production line. The new controller is designed with the craft brewers and mobile canners in mind.

More flexibility in the amount of LN2 that goes into each can will further aid in decreasing dissolved oxygen levels and thus extend the shelf life of the brew as well as provide rigidity to the actual can. This allows the cans to be easily stacked, saving floor space at the brewery. Dosing also allows breweries to create “Nitro” beers without having to purchase special, high cost cans, which contain the nitrogen widget. Brewers and mobile canners alike should come by the booth to see how this new controller is even more customizable than before.

Also making a debut is The EASE system. This replaces the standard pneumatic head and customers will only need a liquid source to use Chart’s Doser technology. The EASE system is low profile, affordable and can does at speeds up to 500 containers per minute. The new controller and the EASE system will be ready to order after the conference.
