Growler Chill promises to preserve the life of your draft beer at home

November 16, 2017Pretty Much a Press Release

Growler-Chill

Growler Chill, a new craft beer appliance created to solve the perishability problem in both 32 and 64-ounce growlers, won the Product Innovation Award at the inaugural SC Branded Awards through the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. The SC Branded Awards honored local initiatives, locations, products, and events that make up the brand that is South Carolina.

“Beginning with a Kickstarter program that raised over $680,000, this has been a great year for Growler Chill and winning the Product Innovation Award is incredibly gratifying,” said Randy Hollister, the product’s inventor. “Our very first units are scheduled to ship by the end of this year, and excitement around the launch continues to grow. Our inventory is currently sold out through February 2018. We can’t wait for the public to see and experience what led South Carolina business leaders to name Growler Chill the Palmetto State’s most innovative new product.”

The Growler Chill, which holds up to three growlers at a time, will solve several problems that plague craft beer drinkers who like to enjoy their favorite brew at home. The smart, home appliance preserves freshness, purges oxygen and keeps craft beer dark, cold and on tap.

Compatible with 32 and 64-ounce glass growlers that can be purchased and refilled at breweries, bars and fill stations everywhere, Growler Chill’s patented innovations solve the growler perishability problem and extends the life of beer for weeks after opening.

Among its many features, the Growler Chill connects to the company’s free mobile app, allowing users to control temperature, check pressure and track how much beer is left in each of their growlers. Growler Chill is the first of several products Penguin Tap Inc., plans to produce and manufacture for the beverage industry.
