BeerBoard, a leader in real-time data and analytics for draft beer, has signed on Lagunitas, Magic Hat and Stone Brewing to receive the company’s proprietary, real-time data and analytics from its SmartBar platform.

“The data and insights from our SmartBar platform will provide an unprecedented level of visibility for these premier brewers, and those who join on in the coming days and months,” said Mark Young, founder and CEO of BeerBoard.

The SmartBar platform and its reporting tools provide brewers with actionable insights, on-demand tap/share distribution, brewery snapshots and market trends and rank. These brewers will have visibility on product movement from every brand on tap in real time and is often utilized from everyone from senior management to field sales people.

“Partnering with the BeerBoard team to utilize on-premise channel data has enabled us to both identify our market opportunities and secure incremental chain distribution,” said Mark Hegedus, president of Magic Hat. “Having a more clear view of the competitive landscape is huge in today’s craft beer segment.”

BeerBoard’s real-time brand insights are generated from every BeerBoard-metered draft line across national casual dining concepts, such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters and Twin Peaks, along with major regional and independent bars.

SmartBar provides brewers specific performance insights on national, state, region, concept or location level for both internal or external use. Within the platform, BeerBoard has created brewery and brand performance reports on an aggregate basis for the entire United States, and then broken down by region, state, market and location level. Trend reporting is available by draft category and style, including rankings by brand.

BeerBoard is headquartered in the Syracuse, N.Y., and has offices in Denver and the New York City area.
