Friday Fun: Sierra Nevada video game launches Oktoberfest

August 28, 2015Jason Morgan

Regular Craft Brewing Business readers would know that Sierra Nevada’s Oktoberfest, brand new this year, is a partnership with the Germany-based Augsburg’s Brauhaus Riegele brewery. (You’d also be reminded of that if you hit play on the video above.) What you probably don’t know is that the brewery created a throw-back video game that features Kenny the Braumeister collecting water, hops, barley and yeast so he can brew enough Oktoberfest beer to go around. Guess what? It’s just as fun and frustrating as an old NES video game (I’ve already smashed two keyboards…). You can play the game by clicking here.
