Behold! Jordan Flinchum’s winning picture, that was sent along with this caption: “@victorybeer #WORLDSBESTBEERTRIP: always on the hunt for good beer & good people, and the best part is, if you find one, the other isn’t far away.”

Victory Brewing Co. has teamed up with some of the world’s leading craft breweries to send one lucky beer lover, Jordan Flinchum of California, Ken., on a beer trip of a lifetime, touring six of the world’s best craft breweries across five countries in four weeks.

Setting off Jan. 10, Flinchum, who won the trip after receiving the most fan votes in a social media contest orchestrated by Victory, as well as 4 Pines Brewing Co. (Sydney, Australia), Feral Brewing Co. (Perth, Australia), Good George Brewing (Hamilton, New Zealand), Meantime Brewing (London, England) and The Brew (Shanghai, China), will be swept away on an around-the-world ticket, stopping at each participating brewery. Heading first to New Zealand before Sydney and then Perth, Australia, Flinchum will next fly to Shanghai and then London, before finally back to the United States. While visiting each brewery, Jordan will get a first-hand look at what it takes to keep each operation ticking, as well as enjoy the craft beer culture of the host city. Of course, he will also drink world-class beer from around the globe, in the process.

“Craft beer and travelling have been my two biggest passions for many years, so being able to combine them on such an epic scale truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Flinchum. “I couldn’t be more excited to check out some of the best craft brews from around the world.”

During the contest, fans from the participating breweries competed against each other to see who could earn the most votes, after being asked to share a photo and 50-word caption explaining why they deserved to win the World’s Best Beer Trip. In the end, Flinchum’s caption and travel philosophy resonated with craft brew fans from around the world and now he will have the opportunity to document his trip every sip of the way.

“We have always known that we have the best fans in the biz but, once again, we were amazed by the level of support Jordan received. He will set off on an incredible brewing adventure that will take him around the world and back into his backyard to taste some of the best craft beer being brewed,” said Victory Brewing Co. President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski.
