Want to verify if that line is clean? See Thonhauser at #CBC2016

April 18, 2016Chris Crowell

Thornhauser

Every year, prior to the annual Craft Brewers Conference & BrewEXPO America, we ask exhibitors to tell us what will be at their booth to preview the show. Below is one such preview. For all of our CBC coverage this year, search #CBC2016 or click this link. See you in Philly.

One area that all consumers should feel confident is inside a bar ordering a pint from a draft system at any on-premise account. The beer lines should be cleaned and cleaned right every two to four weeks (the Brewers Association recommends every two weeks). Thonhauser USA/AFCO keeps the beer clean and without any off-taste that come from contamination.

Be sure to stop by booth #2439 at this year’s Craft Brewers Conference & BrewEXPO America to see a verification of clean from Thonhauser. Traditional chemicals just clean, but Thonhauser provides a visual color indicator, so the operator knows how much contamination is present and can feel assured that it’s gone — an excellent quality assurance feature.

“We also carry the traditional chemicals and have a selection of caustic, acids and sanitizers in powder or liquid form for the brewery and field use,” the company noted. “We want the consumer to have a beer that the brewer intended and with the current switching of beer handles very often not getting a blended IPA from one brewer and then the retailer places another IPA on the handle.”
