Victory Brewing Co. expands distribution to Alabama

V is for Victory Brewing Co., conquering the great State of Alabama with its delicious craft beer.

Victory Brewing Co. will expand its national distribution footprint to include Alabama, beginning at the end of July. Taking the brand statewide by the end of August are distributors: Allstate Beverage Co. of Montgomery, Ala.; Gulf Distributing Co. of Mobile, Ala.; and International Wines & Craft Beer of Birmingham, Ala.

“We’re excited to finally sell in Alabama,” said Steve German, vice president of sales and distribution. “The craft beer fans there were passionate enough to fight and change certain laws in order to have the right to enjoy full-flavored, delicious beer in their home state. And what better way to celebrate a win, than with a Victory.”

Marking the 30th state, in addition to the District of Columbia, within Victory’s national distribution footprint, the brewery will launch in the Alabama market first with core brands — HopDevil IPA, Headwaters Pale Ale, Prima Pils and Golden Monkey — and look to add their strong seasonal lineup over time.

“Our thirsty fans have been asking us for more,” said Bill Covaleski, Victory’s president and co-founder. “And that is exactly what we’ll be able to deliver with the completed construction of our new, state-of-the-art brewery in Parkesburg. As we grow into that facility, there will be plenty of headspace to continue the delicious experiments and seasonal offerings that our longtime fans have enthusiastically supported.”

The new brewery, located just 17 miles away from the Downingtown brewery and headquarters, will double Victory’s current production capacity, once fully operational later this fall.

Covaleski continued, “This is just the first of a few exciting announcements fans in states where Victory beer is not currently available can expect from us, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
